Contractors, tenants, patients and field staff don't sit in an inbox. A text finds them wherever they are.
The link opens in the phone's browser. They review the document and sign there, with nothing to install.
"delivery": "sms", "email" or "both". Leave it out and Siglio uses whatever the signer has.

Electronic signatures carry the same legal force as ink in the United States under the federal ESIGN Act and, at state level, the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act. A document signed from a text gets the same certificate page as one signed from an email: the signer's phone number or email, how the link was delivered, the sent, viewed and signed times, and the IP address each came from. How the record holds up.
No. 25¢ per envelope includes it, whether the link goes by text, by email or by both.
Yes. Set "delivery": "email" or "delivery": "both" on the same call. Leave it out and Siglio sends by text and email when the signer has both, otherwise by whichever one they have.
Texts go to US mobile numbers: ten digits, or +1 and ten digits. For a signer outside the US, send by email.
No. The link opens in the phone's browser, and they review and sign there. No app and no account.
Yes, under the ESIGN Act and UETA, with the same certificate page as an email signature. More on the law.
